What Are Full-Mouth
Dental Implants?
Full-mouth dental implants are also called all-on-4 dental implants, denture implants, or permanent dentures. Full-mouth dental implants replace an entire row or both rows of teeth. Four to six dental implants are placed below the gum line depending on your overall oral health, gums, and bone density. Once healed, an entire row of permanent teeth is attached to the implants.
Are Full-Mouth Dental Implants Painful?
At Kinard Dental Arts, IV sedation is used during your procedure so you’re relaxed and feel no pain. It’s also common that you’ll have little to no memory of the procedure. After the procedure and once the numbness is gone, you may experience some discomfort and soreness. You may experience some aches and pain during the first week following the surgery, but we will prescribe medication to help you manage any pain.
Through the use of modern technology, we have been able to make our surgical procedures quicker and more effective. Our patients are home resting and enjoying their new smile within a day.
You will walk out with a brand new smile the day of the procedure, meaning that you can get back to smiling confidently right away.
